Job Purpose:
- We are seeking a passionate, student-centered Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that supports students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development in grades pre-kindergarten. This role requires strong classroom management skills, subject matter expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.

Job Description and Duties

Develops lesson plans and instructional materials, providing effective teaching strategies.
Maintains effective classroom management, recognizes and addresses learning and behavior issues. Understand the developmental appropriateness of materials and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Evaluate the accomplishments of the student regularly by using multiple assessment methods; provide progress and interim reports for feedback.
Communicates promptly with parents; maintains positive, constructive communication with students, staff, parents, and the community.
Protects students, materials, and facilities by taking necessary and reasonable precautions.
Upholds and enforces board policy, district goals, administrative procedures, es and school rules and regulations.
Adheres to health and safety policies.
Maintains appropriate work habits, including regular and punctual attendance and appropriate use of conference and planning time.
Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory;
Attends workshops, and PLCs as well as staff department, curricular development, and staff development sessions as required.
Respects the confidentiality of records and information regarding students, parents, teachers, and others in accordance with accepted professional ethics and state and federal laws.
Shares responsibility during the school day for the supervision of students in various areas of the school.
Ability to perform non-instructional duties as assigned.
