Piano​/Strings Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a Piano/Strings Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You will instruct students of varying ages and skill levels in piano and string instruments, create personalized lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and performances, and track progress. The role collaborates with store staff to support lesson enrollment and promote music education in the community.

You'll maintain a professional, encouraging learning environment that reflects our student focused, inclusive culture and commitment to music education and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group piano and string instrument lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student goals and learning styles
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and assessments
• Track and communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and scheduling
• Maintain a professional, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and materials to support student success
• Uphold Music & Arts policies and safety standards in the lesson studio
