OverviewUS Conec is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development, production, and lifecycle management of assigned product lines. This role partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, and Operations to drive product strategy, support revenue growth, and ensure successful product launches and ongoing performance in the fiber optic connectivity market.
Responsibilities- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned product lines, markets, and applications
- Analyze sales and market trends by product, account, region, and application to guide product strategy
- Develop recommendations for new products, pricing strategies, cost targets, and portfolio expansion
- Manage product pricing strategies and maintain pricing curves
- Define product requirements based on customer and market input
- Lead new product development from concept through production and product launch
- Develop and execute product release plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Coordinate vendor qualification, supply chain planning, tooling requirements, and safety stock levels
- Support Sales with customer engagement, samples, product updates, and relationship growth
- Partner with Marketing to develop trade show content, marketing materials, presentations, and webinars
- Provide on-site support at trade shows and industry events as needed
- Coordinate resolution of product quality issues with Sales, Engineering, Applications, and Quality teams
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of fiber optics, connectivity solutions, and network architectures
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Business degree with strong technical experience considered)
- 1–3 years of commercial or product-related experience (fiber optic industry preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing market and sales data
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
- Experience with fiber optic cable, connectors, and connectivity hardware
- Exposure to product development, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management
- Experience supporting trade shows, marketing initiatives, or customer-facing activities
