Automation Control Tech; Weekend Nights

• Familiar with company philosophy, procedures, and practices
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing environment and equipment
• Possess good verbal and written skills
• Identify, scope, propose, and implement capital improvement projects as assigned
• Capable of performing low‑to‑high voltage electrical work, balancing loads, laying out and wiring complex circuits with large quantities of connections, troubleshooting and correcting faulty logic and control circuits, and carrying out electrical installations, repairs, and tests on all plant and production equipment
• Work well in a team environment
• Possess strong work ethic, be motivated, highly initiative, and able to function efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision

• Bachelor’s Technical Degree (BSEE) or equivalent manufacturing experience (10+ years in related field)
• 5+ years experience with HMI programming (Wonderware, Historian, SQL tools)
• 5+ years experience with PLC programming (AB, PLC5, SLC, Micro/Control Logix, Siemens S7)
• 5+ years experience with AC/DC drive and motion control systems
• Experience with machine network design and support (architecture, switch configuration, communication protocols, etc.)
• Experience with AutoCAD or Solid Works is a plus

• Constantly (2/3 to full day) walking and standing
• Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of day) talking (telephone/radio and/or other employees), lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending
• Occasionally (1/3 of day) sitting, typing, and writing
