Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator - Ergonomics

Overview:

US Conec is seeking an EHS & Ergonomics Coordinator to support and drive safety, health, and ergonomic initiatives across our manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in reducing risk, preventing injuries, and promoting a strong safety culture through hands-on partnership with operations, engineering, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

* Support and maintain EHS programs in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations

* Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations

* Investigate incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions

* Recommend and implement improvements to reduce injuries and enhance workplace ergonomics

* Track and analyze safety data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement

* Deliver safety and ergonomics training to employees and leadership

* Partner cross-functionally to ensure safety is embedded in equipment, processes, and workflows

* Support injury prevention, return-to-work efforts, and industrial hygiene initiatives

Must Haves:

* 2-5 years of experience in EHS, ergonomics, or a manufacturing environment

* Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ergonomic principles

* Experience with safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

* Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization

Nice to Haves:

* Bachelor's degree in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or related field

* Experience with EHS systems or safety tracking tools

* Background in industrial hygiene or injury prevention programs
