Dematic has an immediate need for an Electrical Controls Engineer in its Customer Service Modernizations & Upgrades group. Candidates must have a strong background in control engineering, including planning, creating schematic and panel assembly drawings, working with PLCs and HMIs, and commissioning engineering design projects.
Responsibilities- Develop recommendations for efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Perform sophisticated technical interchange and knowledge transfer for processes and product application in system builds.
- Execute all standard work required of a professional in the field.
- Identify and resolve complex problems using problem‑solving skills to manage most situations.
- BS/BA in electrical engineering or an advanced degree, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of successful experience in the related field.
- Broad knowledge of the specialty area through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Understanding of the organization’s business practices and issues.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
- Knowledgeable with AC drives, both open and closed‑loop.
- Experience with Ethernet/IP network design and machine safety is a plus.
Competitive Compensation and Benefits.
Base pay range: $74,000 to $112,000 (established at time of posting). Final compensation will be determined by location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
