Role PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Optical Connectivity Solutions Division Information Security Leader to support and strengthen information security efforts across our OCS locations in North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role will help establish division‑wide security standards, governance processes, and risk reduction programs aligned with corporate requirements.
The ideal candidate will work closely with plant leadership, corporate information security, IT, HR, engineering, and technology teams to protect sensitive information, support new technology deployment, and drive continuous improvement in information security practices across global manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with division leadership and corporate information security teams to implement security strategies and initiatives
- Lead and support plant information security leads and councils across multiple locations
- Assess information security risks and develop standardized audit processes
- Drive information security governance, standards, metrics, and improvement programs
- Support training and awareness initiatives for leadership and operational teams
- Coordinate mitigation activities related to information security incidents
- Work with engineering, technology, and procurement teams to ensure security requirements are addressed in new programs, equipment installations, and third‑party engagements
- Develop and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships with IS, IT, Security, and HR teams
- Support division policies that align with corporate guidelines and industry best practices
Location can be in Charlotte, NC, Hickory, NC, Keller, TX, Austin, TX.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, IT Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience developing and deploying information security policies and action plans in manufacturing, government, or military environments
- Global manufacturing experience across multiple plant locations and cultures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations
- International experience
- Experience in technology‑focused organizations
- Experience leading culture change initiatives
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Leadership in matrix organizations
- Influencing and collaboration
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills

Salary range: $–$ (full time). Starting pay will vary based on geographic location, market demand, experience, training, and education.
