Delivery Dispatcher

To coordinate and oversee city route schedule, functions, and delivery specialists of the hub store to spoke stores.

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, and ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up the order for delivery.
• Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and communicate any delays to stores remaining on route.
• Continuously monitor the hub system and routes to increase efficiency, productivity, and reduce expenses; communicate recommendations to the store manager.
• Ensure all team members assigned to the hub are clocking in and out according to company policy.
• Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and make any necessary billing adjustments.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the route is covered in the absence of the regular city delivery specialist.
• Work with the store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately; ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles.
• Provide input to the store manager regarding delivery specialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
