About the Role
We are seeking sewers to join the manufacturing team in Hickory, NC. As a sewer you will support the fabrication of our custom vascular product. This role requires the ability to follow written work instructions and produce a variety of different products. We utilize stand‑up sewing machines at our Hickory facility and the role will regularly require being on your feet.
What You Will Do- Seam and/or fabricate a variety of products using one or more types of sewing machines.
- Inspect product for defects and handle appropriately, as required.
- Ship product per customer order, as required.
- Perform cutting duties as required.
- Maintain appropriate records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school education or GED preferred.
- 5 to 10 years sewing experience, if no high school diploma.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English; required for the safe and effective performance of the job.
- Must demonstrate high degree of seam‑spun skills with the ability to learn many different machines and processes, producing high quality results.
- Must be able to inspect garments for defects compared to established standards.
