Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Production Manager for a top manufacturing client. This leader will be responsible for driving end-to-end production performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity metrics. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can balance strategic planning with daily execution, while developing high‑performing teams on the production floor. This individual will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring successful implementation of new products and processes.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong operational expertise, people leadership, and the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.

Day-to-Day
  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
  • Oversee production teams and supervisors, including coaching and performance management
  • Allocate labor, materials, and equipment based on production needs
  • Monitor and improve equipment performance (OEE, uptime, yield)
  • Drive resolution of operational issues using data and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Support installation, start‑up, and ramp of new products and equipment
  • Manage departmental budget and resource utilization
  • Communicate performance metrics, risks, and priorities to plant leadership
  • Ensure proper staffing, workforce capability, and long‑term talent development
  • Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards
