Work Schedule:

2nd Shift

Technical Lead:
Flexible schedule based on training requirements

Molder Flex Operator:
Rotating biweekly schedule (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Pay: $27.50/hour plus $1.00/hour differential.

Position Overview:

As a key member of the Device Operations team, the Technical Lead & Molder Flex Operator plays a dual role in supporting production and workforce development. This position contributes to operational success by delivering technical training, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supporting manufacturing processes across molding, assembly, and packaging. The role partners closely with production leadership to maintain efficiency, product quality, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on training in device operations, molding processes, and technical procedures.
  • Ensure employees understand validated parameters, documentation practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Offer technical guidance and assist with troubleshooting within approved process limits.
  • Support off-shift and cross-training initiatives to meet operational needs.
  • Set up and adjust molding equipment, testers, and related machinery within established parameters.
  • Assemble components into finished devices while meeting quality expectations.
  • Inspect parts and finished goods to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain continuity of operations.
  • Perform final stack packaging according to work orders and special instructions.
  • Verify labeling, packaging accuracy, and palletizing standards.
  • Rotate across production and warehousing functions to support team needs.
  • Assist with coverage, cross-training, and maintaining workflow efficiency.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to GMP and ISO standards and support audits as needed.
  • Report and assist in resolving safety or equipment concerns.
  • Accurately document production data, quality checks, and manufacturing activities.
  • Communicate updates, concerns, and test results clearly with team members and leadership.
  • Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of production experience in molding operations or device assembly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) Required

  • Proficient in molding equipment setup and operation.
  • Strong understanding of GMP and ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of safety practices in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  • Effective communication and training skills.
  • Ability to rotate between roles and adapt to changing production needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Forklift certified and ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse setting with exposure to machinery and moderate noise.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 65 lbs. occasionally.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
  • May be exposed to varying temperatures and industrial conditions.
