SUMMARY:

Operate the transfer cart to load machines and export all sheet orders out.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation of Buggy/Transfer Car on track between machines.
• Operates the Buggy/Transfer Car by picking up units of sheets/board from the Corrugator Machine.
• Delivery of appropriate stock/units to the appropriate converting machines safely and on time.
• Buggy/Transfer Cart Operation requires constant movement of cart using forward and backward movement of the cart and movement of units left and right from and to the various machine centers.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: production data, machine operational status, safety data, quality data.
• Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset.
• Knowledge of product quality specifications
• Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
