Manufacturing Engineer (PR/603295) Hickory, North Carolina
We re hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support welding and fabrication operations for a leading manufacturer. This role will focus on improving weld quality, increasing production efficiency, and driving process improvements across the manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities- Improve and optimize welding processes to enhance quality and productivity
- Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues to minimize downtime and defects
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing process development
- Partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive operational improvements
- Implement process improvements, tooling enhancements, and automation initiatives
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Experience with MIG, TIG, robotic, or automated welding processes
- Background in metal fabrication, heavy manufacturing, industrial equipment, or automotive manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- High-impact role with visibility across the operation
