Job Description
** The Cut and Sew Superintendent will be responsible for the daily operations of a Cutting and a Sewing Department.
** Essential Duties
*** Manage all aspects of Cut and Sew departments with the assistance of managers
* Maintain quality control standards, safety standards, and labor efficiencies
* Work closely with the upholstery floor to resolve any quality or production issues
* Identify and address fabric and leather issues working through our Purchasing Department
* Must follow all safety policies and procedures
* All other duties as assigned## Qualifications
** Position Requirements
*** High school diploma or GED preferred
* 5 years+ as a Cut and Sew Superintendent in an upholstered furniture factory
* Ability to work with all levels of the company
* Excel, Word, and SAP skills are required
* Technical knowledge of cutting and sewing operations
* Knowledge of Fabric and Leather standards
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques
