** Position Summary
** Position is responsible for determining if a piece of furniture sent to the repair area requires washing off/removal of finish before a repair can be made.
** Position Details
*** Inspects furniture in need of repair to determine is the finish needs to be washed off/removed before repair can be made
* Determines if the entire case needs to be washed off or if the repair can be accomplished if only part of the product is washed off
* Tapes around area of furniture to be washed and removes the finish
* Repairs defects after finish is removed
* Drains, refills, and cleans wash off bucket as necessary
* Pumps material from pump house to bucket & disposes of used rags daily
* Observes plant safety rules
* Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties
* Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor## Qualifications
** Position Requirements
*** High school diploma or GED preferred
* Previous whitewood repair/wash off experience strongly preferred
* Knowledge on usage of various sanders preferred

* Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull & bend over the course of 8 hours
* Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
* Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds; up to 100 pounds with assistance
* Must have good hand/eye coordination
* Must be able to match colors
* Must be able to use hand tools as needed
