OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift Day
DescriptionThe Cut and Sew Superintendent will be responsible for the daily operations of a Cutting and a Sewing Department.
QualificationsPosition Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 5 years+ as a Cut and Sew Superintendent in an upholstered furniture factory
- Ability to work with all levels of the company
- Excel, Word, and SAP skills are required
- Technical knowledge of cutting and sewing operations
- Knowledge of Fabric and Leather standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over the course of 9 hours
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 10 lbs.; on occasion up to 25 lbs.
