Pay Rate: $19.32 /hour + $2.00 /hour shift differential for night shift

Shift

Schedule:

12-hour rotating shifts (2-2-3 schedule)

Night Shift

Hours:

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Training:
Conducted on day shift

Summary Description

Reporting to the Department Manager, the Pouch Assistant plays a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate production and packaging of TOPPAN products. This position requires strong attendance, a commitment to quality, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and works well collaboratively to meet production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Inspect and pack pouches from assigned machines to ensure products meet order specifications and quality standards
  • Operate all bag machines safely and efficiently
  • Follow all food safety and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Review production orders for accuracy and proper setup
  • Verify sealers are properly closed and functioning
  • Monitor strip rolls for proper placement
  • Record start counts and production data accurately
  • Work closely with Set‑Up team members to confirm order accuracy and machine readiness
  • Perform minor machine adjustments including eye positioning, wicket pins, and lip/print alignment
  • Conduct regular quality checks and complete QC documentation as required
  • Build and label boxes with correct counts, machine numbers, and order details
  • Seal and move completed boxes according to order instructions
  • Complete end‑of‑order documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate key information during shift transitions
  • Assist with physical inventory counts as directed
