SUMMARY OF POSITION The process technician assists other operations to assure that the production processes are performing properly with respect to safety, quality, and output; assists in data collection, training, and documentation of assigned projects by department process engineer or plant management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)
Analyze processes, equipment, materials to determine efficient manufacturing methods and process improvements.

Monitors processes on a continual basis for continuing improvements and/or modifications.

Coordinate activities of support personnel and manufacturing to resolve process problems.

Investigate root cause of production issues by troubleshooting machine operations/recipe setup and repair where possible.

Assist in training operators on process awareness, monitoring and control.

Provide process data as recommended for standard or experimental products.

Assist R&D project leaders when running experimental trials.

Assist Engineering in operator training of new and/or upgraded equipment.

Assist in Recipe creations and updates for new equipment or new products.

Provide technical assistance to operations on proper operation of control systems on new/modified equipment installations.

Maintain high standard of cleanliness and organization at job sites
