Offbearer
Century Casegoods Plant 1 - Hickory, NC 28601
DescriptionThis position is responsible for catching and stacking stock off of machine.
Essential Duties:
- Works in-sync with operator in order to catch and stack stock off of machine.
- Detects and notifies operator of any defects.
- Keeps correct count of stock.
- Observes plant safety rules while keeping work area clean.
- Is quality conscious in performing duties.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous Offbearer experience a plus
Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over the course of 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift boards of 30 pounds or more.
