Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and ACLS/PALS certifications.
Responsibilities- Hospital Emergency Department (ED) setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekday shifts with a minimum of every other weekend (EOW) required
- Holiday coverage required
- Option to flex to 4x12-hour shifts if needed and available
- Meditech EMR (experience preferred)
- 13-week contract
- CPI/CIC certification is preferred; candidates who extend beyond 3 months may obtain CPI onsite
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required; 3 years preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
