Position:
Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) – PRN

Location Type:

At Lifepoint Health, we are committed to empowering a diverse workforce to drive quality and impact across our hospitals and communities. As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you will support staff and patients in the Emergency Department at Frye Regional.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor vital signs and blood sugars.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living; document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition.
  • Measure and document input/output and weights.
  • Assist nurse as needed.
  • Answer call lights.
  • Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient.
  • Distribute drinks and/or snacks.
  • Maintain a clean and neat patient room and work environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current state NA I license and completion of an accredited NA course.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • Understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
