This position involves providing leadership and facilitating professional nursing care to enhance patient comfort and well-being. You will utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, document care, and teach both patients and their families. You will also implement medically prescribed interventions.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of hospital nursing experience.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with completion within five years of hire. RNs with ten years or more experience are exempt.
• Licensure:
  Current NC Registered Nurse license or eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Preferred Certification:
  National certification in a specialty area.
