Our 36-bed med-surg neuro tele unit specializes in exceptional care for patients with various neurological conditions, focusing on stroke care and managing conditions such as myasthenia gravis, encephalopathies, dementia, brain, and spinal tumors. Our exclusive Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) allows for 24/7 monitoring to diagnose and adjust treatment plans for seizure activity, making a real difference in patients' lives.

As a Registered Nurse, your role is to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. You will follow nursing models such as 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage' and act as an advocate for patients and families to ensure an outstanding patient experience.

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse effects.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively address their needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures in a way they can easily understand.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
