Position Summary and QualificationsIn your role as a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional, patient‑focused care while adhering to departmental protocols and state regulations. Working collaboratively with medical professionals and the care team, you'll provide personalized, compassionate services and advocate for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients during admissions and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any status changes.
- Execute medical orders and procedures while ensuring prompt and thorough documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses, acting accordingly if unexpected reactions occur.
- Engage with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education regarding medical conditions and care plans.
- Required
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program, with completion within five years of hiring. Ten years of nursing experience may exempt from this requirement. - Preferred Education: Master’s in Nursing.
- Required Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Required
Certifications:
BLS Healthcare Provider, Chemotherapy (within a grace period). - Experience: Minimum of one year in a hospital setting.
