• Provide leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being.
• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions effectively.

• Assess patients’ conditions upon admission and during each shift, quickly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation in patient records.
• Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patient responses, and take appropriate actions in case of adverse effects.
• Deliver exceptional patient care by promptly responding to requests, anticipating needs, and resolving issues swiftly.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, ensuring clear understanding.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years of hire. RNs with over 10 years of experience are exempt from this requirement.
• Preferred Education: Master’s in Nursing.
• Required License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Experience: Minimum one year of hospital nursing experience.
