As a Nurse Extern, you will play a vital role in the nursing team, gaining essential hands‑on experience and exploring the comprehensive responsibilities of a Registered Nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing essential patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), checking vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring comfort and hygiene.
• Performing nursing tasks such as wound and catheter care, collecting specimens, and other basic nursing procedures to build your experience.
• Documenting care accurately and providing timely updates to the nursing team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assisting patients and families in understanding care plans and offering support for their health and recovery.
• Maintaining a clean, safe patient environment by following infection prevention practices and managing equipment.
• Engaging in learning opportunities and sharing ideas to enhance patient care, while collaborating with your supervisor to develop your career growth plan.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of your employment start date.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Must possess either an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.
