This vibrant unit consists of 44 beds and primarily serves pre- and post-surgical patients. Working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment, our nurses handle complex recoveries, frequent pain assessments, and a significant volume of medication administration.

With an average patient stay of one to three days, you can expect consistent patient turnover, sometimes exceeding 20 admissions and discharges within a single shift. This pace demands strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent time-management skills.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide leadership that enhances the delivery of professional nursing care, focusing on patient comfort and well-being. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or in progress (must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire). RNs with 10 years or more experience are exempt from this requirement.
• License: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC licensure may apply. Registered Nurse licensure must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Experience: One year of hospital nursing experience is required.
