Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Fulltime, Nights).
Schedule:
3 × 12‑hour shifts per week. Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required.
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
- Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation of medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Performs timely and accurate quality‑improvement assessments.
- Current state RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
- One (1) to Two (2) years of bedside RN experience.
- Two (2) to Four (4) years of critical‑care experience preferred.
- Tier1 float: BLS required; ACLS and NIH required within 3 months of hire (or transfer to position).
- Tier2 float:
Must meet all Tier1 criteria and be competent to float to two specialty areas (CVICU, CCU, NICU, ED, L&D).
Certifications:
BLS required; ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within 3 months of hire (or transfer).
