Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool Nights

Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Fulltime, Nights).

Schedule:

3 × 12‑hour shifts per week. Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
  • Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation of medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Performs timely and accurate quality‑improvement assessments.
Qualifications
  • Current state RN license.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
  • One (1) to Two (2) years of bedside RN experience.
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years of critical‑care experience preferred.
  • Tier1 float: BLS required; ACLS and NIH required within 3 months of hire (or transfer to position).
  • Tier2 float:
    Must meet all Tier1 criteria and be competent to float to two specialty areas (CVICU, CCU, NICU, ED, L&D).

    Certifications:

    BLS required; ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within 3 months of hire (or transfer).
