1-2 years previous OR required. Operating Rooms: 13. Typically 15-30 cases per day. Services include General, Bariatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neurosurgery (craniotomies, stimulators, carpal tunnel), Orthopedic (Total joints, sports medicine, some trauma), Ortho/Neuro Spine, Ear, Nose and Throat, Podiatry, Endoscopy, Interventional Pulmonology, Plastics, Urology, Vascular (Endovascular, Oculoplastic, Dental), C-Sections for L&D, and Open Heart.
How you will contribute- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- One-year previous experience preferred
