More About Our Team

Join our team in a 24 bed unit staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (NAs), and monitor techs. This unit focuses on Pre & Post Cardiac Cath patients with 24 hr cardiac monitoring.

How You'll Contribute
  • Monitor vital signs/blood sugars
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living; document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition
  • Measure and document input/output and weights
  • Assist nurse as needed
  • Answer call lights
  • Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient
  • Distribute drinks and/or snacks
  • Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Current state NA I license and completion of NA course from an accredited school.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • At least one year of experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Education:

    High School diploma preferred.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice; BLS required;
    Handle with Care preferred.
