Director of Labor and Delivery, Women’s Services

Location: Hickory, NC

Pay: $101,171 – $136,593 (Based on Experience)

Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead our Labor and Delivery and Women’s Services department. This vital leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, driving operational excellence, and fostering a supportive environment for our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, proven leadership skills, and a passion for women’s health.

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Labor and Delivery and Women’s Services department.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for staff development and engagement.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Drive initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and experience.

• Proven leadership experience in a Labor and Delivery or Women’s Services setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in obstetrics and gynecological care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
