Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinic Frye Care Cardiology
Location: 2660 Tate Blvd SE, Hickory NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Full‑time/Days)
Responsibilities- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation of medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
- Provide plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care given, monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
- Current state RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire.
- Cardiology experience preferred.
