Role:
Registered Nurse in a Medical Cardiology Step-Down unit Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and perform cardiac and telemetry monitoring
- Administer medications and respond promptly to patient status changes
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans
- Support safe transitions of care for patients
- Current RN license
- Experience in cardiac or telemetry nursing preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
