American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift (7P-7A) assignment requiring 2+ years of cardiac telemetry experience and NC or compact RN licensure.
Details- Medical Surgical Telemetry unit in a 355-bed hospital
- 24-bed unit with generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adult to elderly
- Common diagnoses include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac catheterizations (groin & radial) and VATS
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Uses Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner equipment/EHR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units
- 13-week assignment
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
- Associate's degree required
- Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
- AHA certifications required
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
- Provide nursing care to a family-oriented cardiac telemetry unit
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
