Role Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for Pulmonary Med Surg, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The nurse assesses patient conditions, performs procedures, administers medications, and documents care accurately. They respond promptly to patient needs, educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatments, and advocate for patient well-being.
- Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, monitor changes, perform medical procedures, administer medications, respond to patient requests, and provide education on health conditions and treatments. - Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days, RN licensure, BSN or enrollment in a BSN program (with a 5-year completion goal), with preferred hospital nursing experience.
Compassionate, attentive, collaborative, and committed to safety and excellence in patient care. The role requires strong communication, clinical judgment, and a patient advocacy mindset.
Key DutiesAssess patient status, perform and document procedures, administer medications, respond proactively to patient needs, and educate patients and families effectively.
