American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN with cardiac experience and Cerner proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment in Hickory, NC.

• Work in a 24-bed Telemetry unit specializing in Cardiac care
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Generalized cardiac patient population ranging from young adults to elderly adults
• Common diagnoses include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac catheterizations (groin & radial), VATS
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Required to work every other weekend
• May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units
• Uses Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner equipment

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Associate's degree required
• Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo required
• Cerner experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a family-oriented unit
• Facility is a 294-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital offering cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time during the assignment
• Must be able to start orientation on one of the designated 2026 start dates
