Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601!

Travel RN – Telemetry (Tele Overflow)

Hickory, NC | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed telemetry unit with a 4:1 patient ratio, serving a generalized cardiac population ranging from young adults to elderly adults
• Monitor and manage patients with common diagnoses including chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre- and post-care for cardiac catheterizations (groin and radial approaches) and VATS
• Operate unit equipment including Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo monitoring devices
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
• May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units as needed

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
• Proficiency with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel rates

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Background in cardiac specialty nursing including experience with cardiac catheterization patient care
• Familiarity with IMCU or progressive care unit workflows

• Work within a Joint Commission Accredited facility known for cardiac care, orthopedics, surgical services, and more in a collaborative, family-oriented unit culture
• Projected start dates available in late October, November, and December 2026 — offering flexibility in your travel assignment planning
