Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a cardiac unit requiring a NC or compact RN license and Life Pak/Zoll/Masimo experience.

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate's degree required
• Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment required
• Cerner EHR experience preferred

• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting specializing in cardiac care
• 24-bed unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Patient population includes generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly adults
• Common diagnoses include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac catheterizations (groin and radial) and VATS procedures
• Uses Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment, with Cerner EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend
• May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units
• Provide telemetry nursing care within a family-oriented unit
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
