American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting providing cardiac care
• 24-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Patient population includes generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly adults
• Common diagnoses include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac catheterizations (groin & radial), and VATS
• Uses Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner equipment
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Required to work every other weekend
• May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate's degree required
• Cerner EMR experience required

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients, including monitoring and pre/post procedural care
• Family-oriented unit culture
• Scrub color is unrestricted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
