American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB-GYN position requiring 2 years of labor experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

• Work in an 8-bed LDRP/OB-GYN combined unit on the third floor
• Shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend required
• Patient population includes labor/delivery and GYN patients
• Follows AWHONN patient ratio standards
• Uses Cerner EHR
• No call requirements
• Possible floating as helping hands to other units

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of labor experience required
• Associate's degree required
• LDRP experience preferred
• AHA certifications required

• Provide nursing care to laboring patients and GYN patients within an LDRP setting
• Navy scrubs required for C-section procedures, supplied by the hospital
• Facility includes Level 3 NICU and Women's Center services
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles considered at local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• First-time travelers may be considered
