Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

About the Role

Join Action Link as a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Hickory, NC (28602) and surrounding areas. The role involves occasional travel to Winston‑Salem and Charlotte for team projects.

• Conduct store visits and complete merchandising projects at major retail outlets within an assigned territory.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays for clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
• Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and photographs for each store visit.
• Maintain daily communication with the regional team and submit required documentation on time.
• Seek additional opportunities for increased hours when covering larger regions or traveling.

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within an assigned territory.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence combined with teamwork; comfortable working autonomously and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Tech‑ready: reliable internet access, basic hand‑held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with the latest OS update; laptop/desktop access is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; required to use the vehicle to perform job responsibilities.
• Physical stamina: able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Compensation: $17.00 per hour for general merchandising projects, with higher rates for additional technical projects based on need.
• W2 Employment: bi‑weekly pay schedule and direct deposit.
