Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Cashier, Retail Support
Position Summary
Responsibilities- Provide member service, maintain checkout area, resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam's Club products and services.
- Guide and support members regarding self‑service technology; process member purchases and handle payments, returns, refunds and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, handle merchandise properly, report unsafe situations and maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards and identify member needs.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, transport items, zone, arrange and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
- Safeguard company assets, observe and communicate potential criminal activity, maintain required documentation, and execute emergency response procedures.
- Train new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollouts; provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers and partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities and adapt to change.
- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English language learning and short‑form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
