Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Cashier
Position Summary
Provides member service and maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam’s Club products and services, and provides guidance and support regarding self‑service technology. Processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types.
Responsibilities- Maintain entrance and exit areas and ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Verify membership cards, acknowledge members, and identify member needs.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
- Follow company safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
- Handle merchandise properly, zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, and identifies shrink and damages.
- Maintain paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; execute emergency response procedures.
- Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new program rollout training, and provide continuous learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change.
- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
- Preferred: experience in a fast‑paced customer service environment and ability to use self‑service technology.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
