The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store's management team, responsible for supporting the store manager by overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the store while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Assisting in hiring and training new employees
• Providing coaching and performance feedback to staff
• Addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts

• Monitoring daily sales and inventory levels
• Ordering merchandise and ensuring stock is properly rotated
• Managing cash register operations and ensuring accurate transactions
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store
• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports

• Providing excellent customer service to all customers
• Handling customer complaints and resolving issues
• Promoting store promotions and special offers

• Enforcing company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and compliance
• Monitoring for potential security risks and taking necessary actions
• Managing cash handling procedures and preventing loss

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Retail experience preferred

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts as needed.
