As a Freight Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the freight and logistics sector, managing client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role involves proactive sales activities, developing and presenting solutions to clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure service excellence.
Duties/Responsibilities- Business Development:

Identify and target potential clients in the freight and logistics industry through research, networking, and market analysis. - Lead Generation:
Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and attending industry events and trade shows. - Client Acquisition:
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, presenting tailored freight solutions to meet their specific needs.

Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the value proposition of the company's freight services. - Negotiate Contracts:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for freight services.

- High level of customer service orientation, with a commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Familiarity with logistics and freight management systems is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the freight, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Occasional travel required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit company sites.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Office setting with minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
