WhatYou'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
- Install, assemble, test, and maintain machinery to support efficient production
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Diagnose equipment issues using laptops, volt meters, and other diagnostic tools
- Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and complete emergency repairs
- Replace worn or damaged parts and make equipment adjustments as needed
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs to support equipment reliability
- Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues before they impact production
- Maintain safe work practices and follow all company safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors during shift handoffs
- 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use volt meters and other diagnostic tools safely
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Working knowledge of industrial production equipment
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience supporting multiple production machines in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of automated equipment and control systems
- Experience with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Training Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Regular Schedule:
- Candidates MUST be open to working either day shift or night shift
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 2-2-3 rotating schedule
You'll work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility supporting approximately 18 production loom machines. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based equipment using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding/fabrication tools. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys solving problems, minimizing downtime, and keeping production running at peak performance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hickory, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
