Transportation Helper, Delivery

Position Summary

Delivery Helper – load, locate, and prepare job sites, secure and maintain truck and equipment, and ensure a ready truck for the next day.

• Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
• Safely unload product and deliver to assigned areas as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
• Navigate routes to job sites and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT guidelines.

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. for carrying materials such as drywall and joint compound.

• Ability to remain standing 90% of the time during material handling.
• Move loads up to 100 lbs. while unloading and loading flatbeds or booms.

• Manage stress associated with customer deadlines.
• Multitask and receive directions quickly.
• Communicate solutions promptly when issues arise.
