We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join a respected construction firm with a long track record of delivering heavy civil and public works projects throughout New York.
This company has built a reputation for completing complex jobs from schools and libraries to environmental and infrastructure work.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Prepare detailed cost estimates and take‑offs for a range of construction projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications and subcontractor pricing
- Work with internal teams to develop competitive bids and budgets
- Maintain estimating records and support project planning
- Communicate clearly with project managers and vendors throughout pre‑construction
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical specifications
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Familiarity with estimating software is a plus
- Self‑starter who works well in a team and meets deadlines
