Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:

The Financial Investigator Clerk for the Accounts Service Department follows the hospital's and department's mission to meet its objectives in maximizing reimbursement for services provided and ensuring timely cash flow. He/she also strives to facilitate patients and/or their families with payments and assist them with financial hardship in the most cost effective means possible.

Responsibilities:
Education Required

• Must complete in-house orientation program

• High school graduation or equivalent required.

• Speaks, reads and writes English
