Red Door Learning Company is seeking a highly motivated Artificial Intelligence Developer Intern to support the development of The Red Door Way AI System a new internal knowledge and automation platform designed to organize operational procedures, documentation, and institutional knowledge.

This internship provides hands-on experience applying computer science, artificial intelligence, and software development to build tools that enhance operational efficiency, staff training, and knowledge management across the organization.

The intern will contribute to real-world AI system development involving knowledge architecture, AI-assisted search tools, workflow automation, and prototype AI assistants.

The intern will support the creation of an AI-powered system that enables Red Door staff to access operational guidance, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and program resources through natural language queries and automated tools.

• Assist in designing and developing an AI-driven knowledge base for operational procedures and organizational documentation.
• Support building a natural language search interface enabling staff to query procedures using AI tools.

• Convert SOPs and existing documentation into structured datasets for AI retrieval.
• Organize institutional knowledge into formats compatible with machine learning frameworks.

• Help develop prototype AI assistants capable of answering operational questions from staff.
• Explore integration with internal platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Share Point , and internal web systems.

• Assist with coding, testing, and debugging internal AI tools and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with the web development team to support platform integration.

• Contribute to the design of automation tools that improve documentation workflows, onboarding processes, and staff training systems.

• Research emerging AI technologies, knowledge systems, and automation platforms.
• Document system architecture, development steps, and project progress.

This internship will provide hands-on experience in:

• Artificial intelligence systems development
• Knowledge engineering and structured data design
• Software development and AI prototyping
• Workflow automation and process optimization
• Organizational knowledge management tools

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with Python, Java Script , or comparable programming languages
• Interest in AI, machine learning tools, and software development
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

By the end of the internship, the student will have contributed to the creation of a prototype AI knowledge system supporting Red Door Learning’s operational framework, known as “The Red Door Way.”
